One thing I have learned in law enforcement and corrections is that the loudest person in the room is not always the most dangerous one.

Noise gets attention.

The quiet person watching everything can matter more.

The person who suddenly stops talking can matter more.

The person whose behavior changes for no obvious reason can matter more.

You learn to stop reacting only to volume and start paying attention to patterns.

What changes is often more important than what is loud.
