I took the day off from the jail so I could spend it with Kelly and her family while they’re vacationing at a resort about two hours south of home.

I missed her and wanted to be part of the experience, so I made the two-hour drive down, spent the day with everyone, then drove two hours back home.

Totally worth every mile.
