I'm right in the middle of a three-day stretch off from the jail.

Funny how three days of 12-hour shifts can feel like an eternity, but three days off seem to disappear in the blink of an eye.

Not complaining, though. It's nice having some time that doesn't revolve around a work schedule.

I'm going to enjoy what's left of it.
