We had cell extraction training today, and as usual, I played the inmate.
If officers are going to learn how to handle real resistance, I am not going to stand there and cooperate. I gave them 100 percent, took shields away multiple times, escaped the cell more than once, and made them work for every bit of control.
They laughed when I walked in wearing a shirt that said UNSTOPPABLE.
By the end, I think the shirt made a little more sense.
I’ve realized the work I enjoy most is the work I already do when nobody is paying me to do it.
I build and manage websites. I work with WordPress and publishing systems. I test interfaces, find problems, define requirements, troubleshoot behavior, write documentation, manage releases, and use AI to help turn ideas into working systems.
Bonumark Stream has given me a place to do all of that on a real product.
I’m not trying to pretend I’m a traditional software engineer. My strength is somewhere between the user, the product, and the technology. I understand what something needs to do, I can work through how it should behave, I can test the hell out of it, and I can keep pushing until it works the way it should.
That is the kind of work I want to get paid to do.
After working 40 hours in three days, I was too brain fried to touch Bonumark Stream or the book today.
The morning was Milo, the recliner, and Dutton Ranch. Then two hours of work training, followed by some much-needed family time, dinner, and a trip to the park.
I ended the day sitting in a lawn chair in my backyard watching the sunset.
Working at the jail, I almost never get to see one anymore.
I needed today.
Not much worth remembering from work today, but this was.
Caught this little guy grazing outside for a few minutes. Sometimes that’s enough to break up a long day.
This is what happens when I need a distraction:
Sixteen-hour workdays hit a lot differently at 50 than they did at 30.
At 30, you finish one and keep moving.
At 50, you finish one and start wondering which part of your body is going to file the complaint first.
Still got it done, though.
I tightened JimLunsford.com today.
Added a native Latest Work section to the Proof theme, kept it visually consistent with the homepage, optimized the profile image delivery, and pushed PageSpeed to 100 across Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO on both mobile and desktop.
Then I went back through the site itself. Tightened the homepage positioning, cleaned up the Work With Jim AI-assisted development language, verified the framework structure, rescanned the major pages, and stopped once the site was doing what it needed to do.
No redesign. No extra clutter. Just better hierarchy, stronger proof of work, cleaner positioning, and a faster site.
I’m looking for my next full-time opportunity.
I’m especially interested in web publishing, WordPress/CMS work, product or technical support, implementation, documentation, and practical AI-assisted workflows.
Remote would be ideal, but I’m also open to the right opportunity within about 35 miles of Columbus, Indiana.

Bonumark Stream v0.6.0 is more than another release.
Profiles became a real identity surface. Themes gained a new architecture. Midnight Ledger was rebuilt around it. SEO, link previews, image delivery, and upgrades all got stronger.
I wrote about what changed, why I changed it, and where Bonumark Stream stands now.
Milo found himself a little cave and now looks like he’s judging every decision I’ve made today.
Comfortable. Hidden. Slightly irritated.
Pretty much peak Milo.
